setting any AA setting in the nvidia control panel still does not provide any visual change nor does it impact the framerate (solid 50-70fps regardless of AA setting) I disabled FXAA in nvidia control panel (it was set to force on) and now the flickering disappeared. still flickering and still no noticable reduction in aliasing I forced 'override application' in Nvidia control panel and set it to 32xCSAA (also tried 8x, 16xCSAA, 16xQ CSAA). I went into graphical settings, and changed the AA settings around to find out that with 0x or any of the FXAA settings the flickering disappeared but the edges still looked heavily aliased. When I first launched the game (not touching my nvidia control panel settings) I noticed flickering on the menu background (also there was horrible aliasing). Nvidia control panel AA settings seem to be non-functional, only the in-game AA settings have any effect. Lights on stations/ships look horrible as any movement from camera angle/ship causes lights to behave like a strobe. Anti Aliasing isn't working properly, no settings produce the desired results. I have AF set to 16x in nvidia control panel. I am running the latest stable version of X:Rebirth that is on Steam. X:Rebirth is located on a 2x2TB RAID1 array that sits on an Areca ARC-1220 pci-e raid controller. I run a Xeon x5680 with 48GB DDR3 RAM and a GTX770 (MSI 2GB 'gaming' version).
